We all experience risk at some stage in our salon business lives, but there is one major difference on how the super successful business owners regard risk compared to everyone else.
You see, while the masses avoid risk, million dollar salon owners manage risk. There is a difference.
The average salon owner becomes more comfortable and secure as time passes, and is less inclined to ‘gamble’ their supposed security for growth. Meanwhile, the super successful salon owners know that security is a myth.
They know that the supposed security that the masses enjoy can be fleeting, and the reliance on using such security as a strategy for continued business growth is folly.
The super successful salon owners are not afraid to risk their security for continued growth, because they know should they fail to grow as a consequence, they still retain the million dollar thinking necessary to get it all back.
It’s all about belief.
The wildly successful salon owners have total belief in one main thing… themselves. As a consequence, they can rely on themselves to do whatever has to be done to get the job done.
The average owner will stop when it gets uncomfortable. The above-average owner will keep going but cease when it gets painful. The wildly successful salon owner will continue until they are successful.
It simply is absolute belief in themselves to do whatever it takes.
So, what’s the risk? If you can’t trust yourself to see it through, if you are afraid you’ll let yourself down, then there is definite risk.
The super successful salon owners have total belief in their ability to see it through. As such, as belief increases, risk is diminished.
But such is the difference between the wildly successful and the average salon owner.
